One Year Down and a Surprise Coming Soon!

Hey Reader!

I can’t even believe it. We're getting close to celebrating one full year as the new TNN, and I’m all in my feels about how far we've come. While I’ve definitely earned a few new grey hairs from the experience, it’s been SUCH an absolutely incredible journey so far. I am so grateful 🥰 We’re working on a big surprise to celebrate this milestone, and it’ll be revealed soon—trust me, you won’t want to miss it!

In this edition, we’re diving into some inspiring travel stories, including the lively Songkran festival in Thailand, a peek at some creepy abandoned places that are now must-visit attractions for you braver ones out there, and potential change to TSA requirements. So, grab your coffee, settle in, and let’s take a trip together!

Stay tuned and stay adventurous,
Lisa 🌍

Water, Water, Everywhere 💧

Did you know? Songkran, Thailand’s New Year festival, is more than just a massive water fight—it’s a deeply symbolic celebration.

The tradition of splashing water represents washing away bad luck and sins from the previous year, while welcoming fresh beginnings for the year ahead. It’s a time for family reunions, visiting temples, and honoring elders, all set to the rhythm of lively street celebrations and water-filled fun.

Want to experience Songkran in all its splendor? Join us April 9-21, 2026!

Step Into History 🏚️

Ever wondered what it would be like to explore abandoned hospitals, eerie amusement parks, or forgotten ghost towns?

These once-forgotten spots are now drawing curious travelers looking for something a little more... spooky. From the haunting beauty of decaying buildings, to the thrill of stepping into the unknown, these places offer a glimpse into history, wrapped in mystery.

But be warned: while these abandoned sites are perfect for a chilling adventure, they definitely come with their own eerie vibe. Shadows linger, floors creak, and there’s always that feeling that someone (or something) is watching.👀

Goodbye Tiny Bottles? 🧴

Did you catch the news? TSA might start allowing larger liquid containers for carry-ons!

No more squeezing your shampoo into tiny bottles or, you know, leaving your favorite curl cream behind with the TSA agent because you forgot to pack it separately (guilty 🙋). But honestly, I’ll probably stick with the smaller containers anyway—who needs that extra baggage?

Traveler Highlight: Marcia 👋

TNN tours aren't just about the destinations we visit. What's most important is the connections we make! We love to share these experiences with the community and want to highlight the adventurous spirits who've said "yes" to joining us on the road!

My recent journey through India with Nomadic Network was nothing short of incredible. From the meticulously planned activities to the unforgettable cultural experiences, every moment was a highlight. But what truly made this trip exceptional was our guide and the owner of TNN, Lisa Field. Lisa's passion for travel and deep knowledge of the destinations we visited brought the whole experience to life. Her dedication to creating enriching, thoughtful travel experiences shines through in every detail, and I'm so excited to continue my travels with TNN, I'm already booked for a trip to Greece this fall! If you're looking for a life-changing adventure, I can't recommend The Nomadic Network enough. I know Greece will be just as amazing!”

With gratitude!
