Once again, the internet rumor mill is spinning out the idea that you need a Costco card to get through TSA. Yep, a Costco card. Not a REAL ID. Not a passport. A membership to bulk snacks and bargain furniture.
This strange myth seems to resurface every year, and TSA has already had to debunk it multiple times. So if you hear a friend confidently say they’re airport-ready with just their Costco card, maybe gently point them to this article.
Spoiler: it’s not going to help them skip the line (but hey, it is great for restocking travel snacks). Oy!
